About the course: Traditional view of OOP, which you may find in classic books on Java, C++, or C#, is very different from what Alan Kay, the inventor of OOP, has had in mind. Objects were not supposed to be what they are now, the way we wire them together was not supposed to be as ugly as it happens in modern web frameworks, and the majority of famous design patterns were never meant to exist. There is a better OOP, which you may use to make your code much more elegant and maintainable.

Speaker: Yegor Bugayenko, Director of System Programming Lab in Huawei Russian Research Institute (Huawei RRI), an author of a few books on software development, an architect of a few popular open source Java libraries, hands-on programmer, speaker, and blogger.

Classes will be held every Wednesday at 19:00, in MIPT: Dolgoprudny, 4 Scientific Lane, Arktika Building, streaming audience, 4th floor. There are 8 classes totally planned. As a result of participation of the course, participants will be issued with participation certificates.

The first lecture will be organized on 11th on March!
